What do Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Craig Morgan, Keith Urban, Trace Adkins, and High Valley all have in common? Each of these incredible artist’s (or more likely someone in each of their respective camps) currently have copies of songs that I have written, and/or co-written. My songs were forwarded to the artist’s by 3 different publishers.
Does any of this news guarantee a cut, or cuts? No, it doesn’t. What it does mean though is that right now, no less than 3 publishers believe in my writing enough to forward some of my songs to these artist’s for their current recording projects. These publishers are willing to take a chance with my writes, and their respective reputations within the music industry.
I’d say that all of this is pretty exciting! I’d say that I’m very thankful to these publishers! I’d say that I’m very thankful to God for any talent that He has loaned to me, and for the direction that He has given all along the way to this point! I’d say it’s pretty cool that a 57 year old bald, hair-lipped guy from Sandpoint, Idaho is starting to run with the big dogs…
